Now that chapter 2 is finished, I will take some time to edit and clean up the finished pages until they are... well, maybe not publishable, but at least printable to be exhibited at amateur events and such. Amidst this I will be drawing more maps and concept art as well, so it won't be a complete hiatus. My work situation has changed so that I will be able to spare more time and energy for drawing, hopefully making this into and actual hobby.
I would like to take this chance to ask my watchers and anybody reading this to give input and critique on the current pages. Feedback is welcome on anything, from a detail on one panel to the concept

I originally meant to use deviantart as just a temporary hosting site, but now that I've been here for a while I thought maybe I'd get a bit more active after all!
I'll still mostly be using the page just to upload my comic - Leadsleet (suom. "Lyijyräntä"). A noiresque action-adventure set in an alternate historical universe where Northern European powers have risen to global dominance in a world dominated by early 20th century nationalism and warlike mindsets. Don't be worried so much about your style evolving with practice - Jeph Jacques' Questionable Content, one of the more famous and successful web comics, has changed significantly over time but nobody slags him for it. Aim for the style that you want and are capable of at the time, but let yourself grow.
Also, I'd say go start a Patreon account. I'm probably not the only one who would subscribe to see a new page on a regular basis, and DA isn't the best publishing platform for on going series.

When it comes to opening a Patreon, "regular basis" is where the problem is at. My job situation has been somewhat strange for a while and I'm not sure how much I can properly commit to what is currently a hobby. Still, I suppose a 1 € tier or something similar on there wouldn't really take up any of my time, so I might just look into it. I'll post here if I start one!
